Burning End

Inspired by blood red skies, and thinking I hardly ever use red, I painted this in my apartment from an idea. The next morning a workman came to fix a leak in my roof and I left him in my apartment for the day. When I returned in the evening the leak was neatly fixed, but there was a massive ladder scrape across the painting…. so I had to re-do it. But it looks much better on the second attempt. I wonder if the workmen noticed what he’d done?

Oil on canvas, 11x14. Enquire for details.
