Washington Square Park

One of my first Plein-Air (French for ‘outside’) paintings, in the summer of 2017. Very distracting as it was so crowded and many people came up to me or stood behind me without saying a word then walked off. I remember sensing someone watching me from behind and I turned around to see it was a Dog. I layered the paint on pretty thickly with this one, and originally I didn’t think much of it, but I like it a lot now.

Private collection.
